The wording of the skill(Leading Teams) , it?s description and the
rationale
does not reflect current team organization and leadership. Open
professionals today may not have the responsibility of forming a team or
planning the work the team is to accomplish. However, Open Certified
Professionals should influence and lead/guide teams to collaborate in
producing results that meet the intended purpose of the professional work
effort.
The skill name for CBS03 should be replaced with:
Influencing teams.
The skill description should be replaced with:
Given a scope of <discipline-specific> work to be accomplished,
formulate direction, influence the shape of the work, and lead or guide a
team and its members to collaborate in performing the work to
completion.
The rationale should be replaced with:
Open Certified professionals must be able to influence and lead/guide
teams to collaborate in producing results that meet the intended purpose
of the <discipline-specific> work effort.
For example, influencing and challenging team members to consider and
accommodate broader concepts.
Note: as a result of this change the Conformance Requirements
documents for Open CA, Open DS, Open CTS and Open CTTP will need
to be amended as well as all the Level 1 and 2 Experience Milestone
Application Forms for these professions.
