| Problem Text |
The intended requirement for the experience of developing
architectures should be 24 months for Level 1 certification and 36
months for Level 2 certification. In addition, for Level 1 the work may
be performed under supervision, whereas for Level 2 the candidate is
expected to be accountable for the architectural work undertaken.
However, in the description, the general wording demands 2 years of
experience (with supervision) in both cases. The following
amendments are proposed to correct this.
The Description text to be replaced with - Experience of developing the
architectural aspects of one or more <discipline-specific> projects or
engagements for at least the specified number of months of full-time
equivalent engagement.
The text for Experience Level 1 to be replaced with ? At least 24
months, possibly with supervision such as mentoring.
The text for Experience Level 2 to be replaced with ? At least 36
months, with accountability for the architectural aspects.
NOTE - As a result of these changes, it will be necessary to amend
EC01 in the Level 1 and the Level 2 Experience Templates, in order to
bring them into line with the Conformance Requirements.
