On renewing my certification (triggered by OpenGroup mail) I used the
OpenGroup website to (pay and) renew [cert id: 18869]
The "Certification Policy" par 6.1 (only) mentions Re-Certification (Level 2)
as a "Telephone interview" ... so this was what I was expecting.
Only when this seemed to take long, I contacted an OpenGroup board
member, who -then- pointed out par 8.2
I had completely missed or forgotten about that section.
Now -late- I wil soonest send in my re-certification package.
Problem: No (proper) trigger on RE-CERTIFY need supported on
OpenGroup website.
Solution: Mention the "need to re-certify" as NEXT step after renewal (as
the valid-until date is actually shown on the personal overview, this
should be easily possible) |
