Section 4.1 and 3. |
Problem Summary |
The eight-year limit on the age of information valid for use as evidence is
not clearly expressed. |
Problem Text |
In section 4.1 it is stated that "Candidates must provide three (3)
Experience Profiles describing projects undertaken within the eight (8)
years preceding an application..."
That is the only statement of this time limit, but it has been taken to also
apply to the information given for Core Foundation Skills, Experience
Criteria, Professional Development and Contributions to the IT Architect
Community. If that is the intention the limit needs to be precisely expressed
to state that - probably at the beginning of section 3.
(It may be advisable to clarify the situation in the package templates also.) |

Review Conclusion |
There should be no change to the conformance requirements but we
should provide some descriptive material in the template that
says "Evidence for CFSs and ECs should normally be within 8 years. And
it is recommended that Candidates use examples from the projects cited
in the experience profiles. If evidence is not in the the last 8 years,
expect to be questioned closely by the board. "
