5.2 ?Trainer Requirements? |
Problem Summary |
The is a potential conflict of interest when an ATTC hosts an IBT
examination of its own employees, as a means to qualify these employeee
for appointment as trainers. |
Problem Description [CSC template]
|
It has come to the CA?s attention than an ATTC has submitted its own
employees for certification by means of an IBT examination that the ATTC
itself hosted. Furthermore an analysis of the results of that
examination appeared not inconsistent with these two lone candidates
having colluded on the examination answers. In particular this
perception might be unacceptable should these employees subsequently be
appointed ?as trainers for that ?ATTC in question.
To avoid any perception of conflict of interest with respect to
employees of an ATTC being certified in the way, and subsequently
appointed as trainers, it is proposed that a new second sentence be
added to section 5.2 ?Trainer Requirements? of ?TOGAF? Certification for
People, Training Course, Accreditation Requirements? as follows:
?This certification must have been obtained as a result of an
examination taken through the Prometric channel or from an IBT
examination hosted by an ATTC entirely unconnected with the ATTC for
which the individual is to act as a trainer.?
If approved as an Interpretation ?this requirement will be added to
Requirement 2 of Checklist 1 is the accreditation checklist.
