    Product Standard Internationalised System Calls and Libraries Extended V4 (UNIX V7)
    Certification Program The Open Brand certification program
    Test Suite VSTH version 5.5.13NW
    Test Identification /tset/PTHR.os/rbmutex_rt/pthread_mutex_setprioceiling/T.pthread_mutex_setprioceiling{13}
    Specification Base Specifications Issue 7
    Problem Summary pthread_mutex_lock(3C) returns EPERM in pthread_mutex_setprioc
    eiling{13}
    Problem Text Testcase 13 tests for this condition using the parent thread which is still
    running in the default scheduling class which is not SCHED_FIFO or SCHED_RR,
    i.e. it is not a realtime scheduler class. As the calling thread is not in a
    real-time class pthread_mutex_lock(3C) returns EPERM and the VSX test
    does not
    complete as expected. This issue arises because the VSX testing requirements
    for UNIX V7 have changed from the UNIX 03 testing in this area. Robust
    mutexes
    using priority protection are intended for real-time thread support but this
    testcase uses a test thread which is not in a real-time scheduler class.
    Test Output 520|4109 13 00006912 4 1|pthread_mutex_lock, expected 58, got 1
    520|4109 13 00006907 3 1|tet_fork, expected 0, got 1
    220|4109 13 2 03:15:52|UNRESOLVED
