    Problem Text There is a defect against standard filed in the past:

    where I point out how timeval structure specification was changed in
    Issue 7. It seems that <sys/select.h> doesn't allow to include
    <sys/time.h> namespace anymore. Please see the the defect report for
    more information.

    In case 1171 could not be resolved quickly I would like to ask for
    Temporary Interpretation.
