Problem Text The problem with this assertion is the test makes bad assumptions about
how quickly the stream gets dismantled after the close() is done on the
read-end of the pipe. If the stream is not dismantled when the
ioctl(...,I_PLINK,...) is called, it gets the desired ENXIO error. If
the stream has been dismantled before the ioctl() is executed, then the
file descriptor of that stream is no longer valid, resulting in an
