Specification Shell and Utilities Issue 6
Problem Summary c99 #95 is expecting to find symbols in libc that are in libxnet.
Problem Text There is a SUSv3 and consequently a VSC test error here.

SUSv3 is expecting these symbols to be in libc. However XNS 5.2 states
that if_freenameindex() and assicuated interfaces reside in libxnet. It
is believed that the c99 utility page in SUSv3 is incorrect for not
including the net/if.h header and where its functions are supposed to
    live.

A SUSv3 defect report has been filed that details the XNS 5.2
information be added to the c99 utility page in SUSv3. This has been
dealt with by the AGR interpretations committee and the draft resolution
    can be found at:

    http://www.opengroup.org/austin/aardvark/finaltext-post-tc2/xcubug2.txt

    in Enhancement Request Number 11.
