Review Type TSMA Review Start Date 2003-08-12 03:04 Last Updated 2003-08-18 18:28 Completed 2003-08-18 18:28 Status Complete Review Recommendation Rejected (REJ) Review Response We have not been able to reproduce this problem on any of our
development systems. Without further information it is not possible to
tell whether the failure is caused by a fault in the test suite or some
other problem.
The submitter's comments start with "In 64 bit", which I assume means
the problem only occurs with the 64-bit version of this operating system
and not with the 32-bit version of the same system. This suggests that
the source of the problem may be a difference in the way that either the
test suite or the O/S itself has been configured on these two systems.
Something that may help to diagnose the problem is to run the test with
shell tracing enabled. This can be done by setting the following values
in the tetexec.cfg file:
TET_OUTPUT_CAPTURE=true
TET_API_COMPLIANT=true
TET_PASS_TC_NAME=false
TST_TRACE=set -x
If the submitter needs assistance to identify the cause of this failure
he should contact vsc_support.

information it is not possible to tell whether the failure is caused by
a fault in the test suite or some other problem.
