    The main line thread make the following call:

    rval = pthread_cond_wait( &T10_cv, &T10_mx3 );

    and then destroys T10_mx1, 10_mx2 and T10_cv, canceling and detaching
    the thread it just created. This should only be done if the
    pthread_cond_wait() has failed, as is the case later in the test.
