    Problem Text

This request applies to both the macro and the function instances of this
    test.

According to XSH5, p. 318, getchar_unlocked "may safely be used in a multi-
threaded environment if and only if they are called while the invoking
thread owns the (FILE*) object, as is the case after a successful call
of the flockfile() or ftrylockfile() functions."

The tests do not call flockfile() or ftrylockfile(). If the calls
are added to the tests, the tests pass.
