    Test 9 runs correctly by itself. The problem is in test 7, which creates




    the directory
    TESTROOT/tset/PTHR.os/all/pthread_cancel/d.pthread_canc
    and sets its permissions to rwx------ and its ownership to root.

    When test 7 tests suid(), it sets the effective user id to vsx0.

    Later, test 9 tries to create dbm files in that directory while it is
    still running with euid vsx0. Since vsx0 has no write privileges in
    the directory, the operation fails, and a subsequent dbm_error() with
    NULL DBM* causes the core dump.
