This test is failing on our implementation because the TET setup is
clearing the process environment. On our implementation, an environmental
variable is required to set the libraries as UNIX 98 comformant. The
SIGXFSZ is generated only under the UNIX environment.Test Output

/tset/PTHR.os/all/pwrite/T.pwrite 3 Failed
Test Description:
# @(#)pwrite3 1.1
When a call to pwrite(fildes, buf, nbytes, offset) requests that
more bytes be written than there is room for,
then only as many bytes as there is room for shall be written
and the implementation shall generate a SIGXFSZ for the calling thread.
# @(#)pwrite3R 1.1
XCAE ref: Component PWRITE Assertion 3(A)
Test Information:
When a call to pwrite(fildes, buf, nbytes, offset) requests that
more bytes be written than there is room for,
then only as many bytes as there is room for shall be written
and the call shall return the number of bytes written.
If no bytes are written, the call shall return -1
and generate a SIGXFSZ for the calling thread.
XCAE ref: Component PWRITE Assertion 3(A)
A SIGXFSZ was not generated

Review Type TSMA Review Start Date null Completed null Status Complete Review Recommendation No Resolution Given Review Response
We recommend that a TSD be granted for implementations which require
that implementation dependent environment variables be set to enable a
UNIX98 execution environment. This test fails when executed on these
implementations because the process environment is not passed
via tet_exec to child processes.

This is an agreed Test Suite Deficiency.
