    I'm wondering if we can still use PIN4U.00031 for creat1
    in the VSU4.1.1 suite. The cause is the same, we just have
    a slightly different journal entry in that we are no longer
    getting the error message:
    "ERROR: TEST TERMINATED DUE TO SIGSEGV SIGNAL (11)"

    which causes the outcome to be UNRESOLVED rather than FAIL

    When path specifies a STREAMS file a call to int
    creat(const char *path, mode_t mode) shall open the
    STREAMS file for writing only.
