    The test may fail on implementations where uid_t is an unsigned
    integral type.

    XPG4 V2 Base resolution 1170/88 has ruled that uid_t, like
    time_t, which is defined in sys/types.h need not be signed and so
    the test is in error.

    The type siginfo_t shall be defined in signal.h as a
    structure containing the member si_uid which shall
    be of type uid_t.
