    The test may fail on implementations that define other bits in the
    st_mode field in addition to S_IFSOCK.

    The test checks to see if the file is of type socket using

    st_mode == S_IFSOCK

    An implementation may define other bits in the st_mode field other
    than those required for S_IFSOCK, and may cause the test to fail
    since the S_ISSOCK file type macro is not being used.
