    The build is failing because it cannot find the symbol WA_NORMAL.
    WA_NORMAL is not a required symbol (Curses Interface 4.2, p. 221), and the
    test should not assume it exists.

    We agree this is a test suite deficiency in the test suite versions listed.

    Note to TOG: As it stands an application can use 0 to indicate no
    attributes which works in practice but is not something the spec requires.
    We suggest the Base WG clarify this situation by either adding WA_NORMAL
    and A_NORMAL to the spec or defining 0 as indicating no attributes.
