The POSIX working group has accepted the requested change as stated in
PIN4C.00017. So the the statement on page 152 of the XCU5 is now in
conflict with the latest 1003.2 draft(13.1):
"The result of scale(expression) will be the scale of expression. The
scale of the result will be zero"
The amended wording is
" The scale of the result returned y these functions shall be the value
of the scale register at the time the function is invoked"
Our implementation supports the current POSIX definition.Test Output
