Problem Text
These tests assume that the ex command will exit with a status
other than 0 when a forward pattern search for a line fails, a
reverse pattern search for a line fails or a rewind is attempted
when the current buffer has been modified.
We believe there is nothing in the spec that mandates this
behavior for these actions. Individual implementions should
be free to decide whether or not to treat these conditions as
errors. If they do not treat the condition as an error there
is no required effect on the ex's eventual exit status.
We believe these test restrictions should be removed.Test Output
