    This test may fail on implementations because of a missing newline
    character at the end of the file.

    Section 4.28.2 of standard P1003.3.2/D8 states,

    grep -f <pattern_file>
    here pattern_file shall consists of one or more patterns seperated by
    <newline>s;

    Patterns in the pattern-file should be terminated by a new-line
    character. Patterns in the pattern-files are not terminated by
    new-line character.
