    This test may fail on implementations that include the the shell
    script line number where an error occurred in shell error messages.

    Implementations where diagnostic error messages may differ slightly
    for the same error condition cause the bad function call to be detected.

    GA26 does a cmp for stderr being the same. On our shell the diagnostic
    message is more detailed than other historic shells and includes
    the line number of the shell script that had the error, in this case
    the two calls were on different lines hence a difference was detected,
    making the test fail
