Certification Program The Open Brand certification program
    Test Suite VSC version 4.1.5
    Test Identification XOPEN.cmd/uuto 1009
Problem Summary TSD4C.00143 This test may fail on implementations that report an error when the source and destination files are identical.
    Problem Text
This test may fail on implementations that report an error when
the source and destination files are identical.

    Line 801 of uuto.sh says:

    uuto $T_PREFIX/uuto_1009_in $_L_SYS!$VSC_TESTER

in startup T_PREFIX is set to:
    T_PREFIX=$_L_PUBDIR/receive/$VSC_TESTER/$_L_SYS

in the uuto-command the destination will be expand exactly to
$T_PREFIX and so source and destination are the same files.

Our implementation notices the two files are the same, prints
an error message and aborts the copy. This causes the test to
    fail.

    Review Response
We agree this is a test suite deficiency in the test
    suite version(s) listed.

The IUT may fail because it recognizes that the source and
destination files are identical and does not attempt to overwrite
the destination file. It may not fail because it attempts to
overwrite the destination file and fails. There is a small
distinction between the two. The test output may not make it
easy to tell which is taking place. The IUT should be carefully
checked to make sure it exhibits the former behavior, not the
    latter, before using this TSD.
