    This test may fail on implementations which do not have time to
    disable their signal handler before expect sends the interrupt
    character after a Control-V.

    We intermittently fail the Control-V Control-C part of this test.
    Expect is so fast that it sometimes sends the the interrupt character
    before the shell has a chance to recognize the Control-V and disable
    interrupts.

    If the input stream is slowed slightly, we consistently pass the test.
