The test case begins by saving ipcs state and create needed message queues,
shared memeory segments and semaphore sets. It then removes all of the semaphore
sets, message queues, and shared memory segments created and compares the resulting
ipcs state with the one previously saved. It the repeats this process except
deleting the message queues, shared memory segments and semaphore sets in different
order.
This can create a problem if VSC 5.0.2 was run on a system right
after a reboot. According to CAE Specification, Commands and Utilities,
Issue 5, page 406, "If the corresponding facility is not installed or has not been used
since the last reboot, then the report is written out in the format:
"%s facility not in system.\n", <facility>"
Hence, running a diff on the two ipcs output may report an error.
This test case should not assume that the message queue facility
has already been used.
We do realize that our ipcs output "Message Queue facility inactive"
is incorrect. We are in the process of changing it.
Test Output
XOPEN.cmd/ipcrm/tp1008
