Problem Text
This test may fail on implementations that position the current
line indicator on the last line moved after a move command.
This test checks to see that the current line indicator will be
set to the first of the lines moved after a move command takes
place. This is the behavior currently mandated by the ex spec.
POSIX 1003.2b/D11 has respecified this behavior such that the
current line indicator will be set to the last of the lines moved
after a move.
Our implementation follows the .2b mandated behavior and therefore
fails the test.
We believe the X/Open spec should be relaigned to with .2b and
the test should allow this behavior.Test Output
Assertion #202 (C): setting of current line after <range>move command
Note: The behavior associated with this assertion is expected
to change in a future revision of POSIX.2.
expected current line 2, was line 3
Command failed: 'checkline ex_data_1 2'
expected current line 3, was line 4
Command failed: 'checkline ex_data_2 3'
Assertion Result: FAIL
