This assertion is attempting to confirm support for at least 511
external symbols per source or object file. However, the test case
only creates test files that contain 510 symbols and the test fails
on conforming implementations. From c89.sh, lines 6448-6449;
awk 'BEGIN { for (n=1; n<511; n++)
printf "extern int var%d;\n", n}' >> test_file1.c
After completion of the awk loop, test_file1.c only contain 510 lines.
This testcase needs to be corrected to properly test the assertion.Test Output
