    The X/Open Verification Suite Release Notes 4.3.2 (page 6) states that
    there is temporary X/Open interpretation for fseek() on pipes and
    FIFOs. This indicates that the test is incorrect. The test expects
    a subsequent getc() on the stream to be unaffected by the fseek() call.
