    We are applying for a 12 month temporary waiver for the non-conformance
    we have on our system for the putenv() tests which were enhanced in
    VSX version 4.4.5

    We will be modifying our implementation to conform.

    Above is the journal as produced from the testsuite.

    The contents of the string at cp is altered by the testsuite
    when xx_rpt() is called. I believe this is a testsuite issue.

    Below is a journal created from a run I've made with some additional
    debugging output, using in_rpt(), to pinpoint when the value is changed.
