The regcomp() interface is a new option in XSH4 and there are a number
of areas where minor deviances may occur from the detailed requirements
of the specification. Few applications are using these interfaces as yet
and it is unlikely that this specific error condition would be expected
by applications that make use of the regcomp() interface.

It is not expected that this minor system fault will have an effect on
applications and it is recommended that this request be granted.
