Problem Text
"X/Open System Interfaces and Headers, Issue 4" has the following
description of the _POSIX_VERSION in <unistd.h>.
_POSIX_VERSION Integer value indicating version of the ISO POSIX-1
standard (C language binding).
Our operating system claims conformance to IEEE Std 1003.1b-1993
which requires that _POSIX_VERSION be set to 199309L.
XPG4 should not preclude adherence to the current IEEE/ANSI/ISO
standard by requiring that _POSIX_VERSION be set to 199009L.
Waivers were granted for similar problems with the VSX3 suite (PG3.700,
PG3.625, PG3.469, ...), but were not cited in the appropriate field
since they are referring to a different version of the VSX suite.Test Output

Since IEEE Std 1003.1b-1993 is a set of additions to the IEEE Std 1003.1-1990
and does not make changes to the syntax or semantics of the calls in the
XSH4 specifications, it seems reasonable to recommend that a permanent waiver
be granted for this difference. There is a precedent for this in the
change from IEEE Std 1003.1-1988 to IEEE Std 1003.1-1990.
