The write() to the slave tty is timing out (errno=EINTR) because output
was stopped. Our implementation does not have buffered output queues
(our VSX_TERMIOS_BUFFERED configuration variable is 'N') so the write()
should be expected to block.
Test 14 of i_spchars does this test in a more portable manner. It
checks the VSX_TERMIOS_BUFFERED variable and if buffered output queues
are available, it expects the write to succeed. If buffered queues are
not supported, the test expects the write() to block get interrupted by
a SIGALRM signal. Test 17 should be modified to be like test 14 and
take into account whether or not the implementation has buffered output
queues.Test Output
