    In test 9 (IXON/IXOFF) is cleared on the read side of the test (tty_fields).
    The subsequent write to the loop side (baudrate 38400) overfloads the read
    side with more than 34000 chars. When an implementation defined highwater
    mark is reached in the driver, the chars are discarded and therefore the
    test fails.
    Flow control should not be swiched off for the read side or the write should
    be delayed.
