Searching Problem Reports
The Problem Report Search page allows a user to search for specific
reports in the problem report repository, or to search for all
reports matching particular criteria. Any search criteria are provided using a web form, but if none are specified, all problem reports will be
returned. The results returned are shown in the Problem Report Summary Page.
The criteria that can be used to constrain the reports returned from a
search are shown below. In some cases a number of check-boxes can be
used to select one or more values for a particular field. If you do not
want to constrain your search on that field, either leave all
check-boxes empty, or select them all.
General Search Options
Conformance Requirements Documents
Select the Conformance Requirements Documents to match, or select "All" to select ALL Conformance Requirements Documents.
Final Resolution
Select the resolution type to search for, or select 'No Resolution Given'
to select ALL resolutions. Alternatively, specify the
Resolution Id of a specific Problem Report. Resolution Ids are comprised of the
resolution type and the unique resolution number for all published
reports. For example, INT.ITACP.1234. A wildcard can be used to select all of a
resolution type, e.g. INT.*. The type codes are
identified below. Note that the resolution number is not the same as the internal
Report Number, which is assigned to all reports as soon as they are submitted.

In addition, User defined resolution codes can be specified through properties file.
Report Number Between...
To search for a problem report with a report number in a given range, enter the lower and upper
report numbers of Problem Reports.
Note that Report Numbers are unique numbers used to identify a report
before a final resolution number is allocated.
If you only enter a number in the From field, no reports below
that number will be returned. If you only enter a number in the
To field, no reports above that number will be returned.
State
Choose one or more states by selecting the checkboxes. If any states
are selected, only reports in one of the selected states will be
returned by the search. Definitions of the states are given below.

| SA Review | The problem report is currently undergoing review by the SA. |
| Preliminary Review Inconclusive | The problem report has had a preliminary review by the CA
but the CA did not reach a conclusion. The report is currently waiting for a detailed review to start. |
| SA Detailed/Expert Group Review | The original review by the SA was inconclusive, so
a further review is now underway. If the further review is inconclusive, there may be
additional further reviews, until the a final resolution has been reached. |
| Preparing For Submitter Review | The CA has provided a final resolution, and the
responsibility now lies with the CA to notify the submitter of the problem report
of this resolution |
| Awaiting Submitter Acceptance | The CA has notified the submitter of the final resolution, and is waiting
for the submitter to accept, or appeal this resolution. |
| Appealed By Submitter | The submitter of the problem report does not agree with the final resolution,
and has appealed. |
| Resolved | The problem report has been resolved. |
Please note that if the system does not have a certification program, there will be no "CA Review",
"Preparing For Submitter Review" and "Awaiting Submitter Acceptance"
Problem Classification
Choose one or more problem classifications by selecting the checkboxes.
Note that these are the classifications as identified by the submitter,
which are not necessarily the same as the final resolution provided for a
report. If any classifications are selected, only reports submitted with
those classifications will be returned by the search.
Certification Program
Select the name of the Certification Program for which problem reports
are to be selected.
Problem Summary
Specify a word or phrase to search for in the problem report summary. This is case insensitive.
Problem Text
Specify a word or phrase that must be contained in the problem text of
all matched reports. This is case insensitive.
Specification
Choose one or more specifications by selecting the checkboxes. If any
specifications are selected, only reports referring to one of the
selected specifications will be returned by the search.
Location in Specification
Specify a word or phrase that must be contained in the location in specification
field of all matched reports. This is
case insensitive.
Certification Authority Search Options
Submitter Name
Certification Authority users may specify a full or partial submitter name to
search for reports submitted by specific users.
Submitter Company
Certification Authority users may specify a full or partial company name to
search for reports submitted by users of specific companies.
Submitter Reference
Certification Authority users may specify a full or partial submitter reference
to search for reports that contain that reference.
