Problem Report Summary Listing

A Problem Report Summary Listing page is returned after a search for problem reports has been carried out. It presents a summary of each matched report, shown in a table with columns that can be sorted by clicking the column headers. Each Problem Report shown in the list can be viewed in detail by clicking on the Problem Report Number shown in the first column.

The information shown in the summary table is described below.


PR#

The unique PR# of the Problem Report is shown in the first column. This number is assigned to the report when it is first submitted, and can be used to reference the report at any stage in its life-cycle. It is not the same as the Resolution Id which is assigned to resolved reports.

If you click the column header of this column then all matched reports will be sorted by Problem Report Number, alternating between highest-first and lowest-first.

State

The state of a report indicates which stage in the report life-cycle the report is currently at. The state for all published reports is Resolved. The states that a report can be in are given below:

Problem Report States
StateDescription
CA Review The problem was classified as a Certification System problem, and the Certification Authority is reviewing it. This review should take no more than 3 business days from submission and will be followed by the Specification Authority Review.
SA Review The Specification Authority is reviewing the report. This review should complete no more than 5 business days from submission.
Preliminary Review Inconclusive The preliminary review by the Specification Authority was inconclusive, and a detailed review will be initiated after the submitter has been notified.
SA Detailed Review The Specification Authority is performing a further review of the report since the preliminary review was inconclusive. This review should take no more than 10 days to complete and must be done within 15 business days from submission.
Preparing For Submitter Review The report has been given a final resolution, and the Certification Authority has not yet passed the information on for review by the report submitter.
Awaiting Submitter Acceptance The Certification Authority has passed information about the report resolution to the submitter and the submitter is reviewing it.
Appealed By Submitter The submitter has appealed the report resolution and the appeals process is in progress.
Resolved The report has been resolved and the resolution agreed by the submitter.

If you click the column header of this column then all matched reports will be sorted by State, alternating between alphabetical and reverse alphabetical.

Report Resolution

The report resolution is given as a Resolution Id, if one has been assigned. The Resolution Id is a unique key consisting of the resolution type and number for all published reports. For example, CSD.0123 or INT.1234. The type codes are given below. Note that the resolution number is not the same as the internal Report Number which is assigned to all reports as soon as they are submitted.

In addtion, user defined resolution type can be specified through properties file.

If you click the column header of this column then all matched reports will be sorted by Resolution Id, alternating between forward and reverse sorting.

Last Updated

This gives the date and time that the last update was made to the report. This includes changes of state, or the addition of any discussion comments being made during a review. By viewing the date of the last update, it is possible for a reviewer to see which reports have been recently updated.

If you click the column header of this column then all matched reports will be sorted by Last Update, alternating between most recent and oldest first.

Summary

This is the problem summary as entered by the submitter.

If you click the column header of this column then all matched reports will be sorted by Summary, alternating between alphabetical and reverse alphabetical.
